The Tough Ten Turkey Trot is back on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, November 27, 2022! There is nothing fowl about this race. We love our 10-mile course, plus we added an alternative 5-mile course for walkers and runners who are looking for a shorter run. Both routes are run simultaneously – starting and ending at Ghiloni Park, with a 2 hour 15 minute overall time limit.

The reason for this race is to stuff our local food pantry. There is no entry fee; just bring 15 non-perishable shelf stable items to support the Marlborough Community Cupboard!

Hope you can join us – bring your friends and neighbors.

Course Description

This race takes place on the paved rural back roads of Marlborough and Hudson. The race starts off with rolling hills the first few miles leading into a steady downhill. Enjoy the flats as you cruise into miles 5-6. The real fun begins just before mile 8 as you head into the Hosmer St. hills. This section is a 1 mile climb before you descend into your last set of turns which brings you to one more hill before the finish. It’s called the Tough 10 for a reason! Overall elevation gain is ~645′ elevation. There will be 2 water stops near miles 4 and 8. The course is open to traffic and all runners are requested to stay on the left side of the road (running against traffic).
