2024 Race Series
We are excited to announce the first two races of the 2024 Race Series. More races will be posted soon.
Highland City Strider members can earn 5 points for running a race series race and 10 points for volunteering at an HCS sponsored race (Running with the Wolves, Laborious Labor Day 10 and 5 Miler, Tough 10 Turkey Trot).
You can also earn points from running a run a Wildcard Race. This is a non-race series race where 10 or more Striders participate in a race at the same site. If a race offers a half marathon distance and a 5k distance and some do the half marathon while the others do the 5k, that counts as a Wildcard! You can earn 3 Wildcard points per race for up to 6 races anytime between January 1st and December 1st. All the Striders at that race will receive Wildcard credit! (Just let Andrew Sinibaldi know about the race and the participants to get your points).
Lastly, You can earn points for hosting SAD runs and for bringing in a sponsor for Running with the Wolves!
Race series winner jackets will be awarded to the top Male and Female point totals. Anyone who earns 50 or more points will get Race Series Swag this year.
